best way to learn Spanish?

I took Spanish for 3 years but have forgotten much of it. I was wondering if anyone had any good luck with particular books or software(must work with a Mac)? I know being around Spanish speaking people is best but that’s not an option.

You’re right being around Spanish speaking people is great, but if you don’t have that option here is a website that will show you the most common topics of conversations that you would encounter if you were in a Spanish speaking country.
